Weeeeeek 3 :)

I will be conducting most of my research from the architecture studio and my bed J I will be observing a wide variety of architecture students in their natural environment. The studio is a place where many architecture students spend a majority of their time, whether it’s building models or doing sketches. I will also be doing observations from the comfort of my own bed. I have the capability to sit on my bed and observe my roommate working on architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning homework.

If I stopped a non-architecture student and asked what they thought about architecture students they would probably start off by saying they are insane for all the time and effort they dedicate to their major. Then they would probably stereotype and say that the majority of them are really smart, to the point of being dorky. They would also say they are dedicated and hard-working, which from my experience I would have to agree.

Architecture majors belong to this subculture. My roommate is one of many first year architecture students, along with our classmates Peter and Nicci (sorry if I misspelled your name).

It sounds like your research should not be too difficult considering all of the connections you have to the architecture world. I know one of the guys on the third floor is an architecture major though I am pretty sure I have only seen him around three times at the most. Just make sure that it is not too easy or you will quickly get bored of the whole project...

I would say the same thing that they must be hard working and dedicated just because of what I hear about the prestige of the program at Ball State. I think architecture will be an interesting subject and although I have known someone as an architect major I have no clue what all they must do that takes that much time.

Must be nice getting to do some of your work from your bed like that.
