My Position :D [Box 11]

There are many factors that will influence my outlook on my field study. (I am strongly considering doing my work of BSU architecture majors.) These factors include my age and my schedule. Being a freshman in college I am just beginning to see the world from my own perspective. I am young and like to spend my time having fun and relaxing, something many architecture majors struggle with due to the intense and grueling curriculum they are faced with. My schedule will also influence my perspective. I have an intense 18 credit hour schedule that includes 3 labs, and I also work until midnight 3 nights a week. I also have to spend a large chunk of my time studying for chemistry, physics, biology, and calculus and doing my homework for all of my classes. This will not allow me much time to observe architecture majors during there class and scheduled studio hours, but I will be able to observe the many late night and all nighters they frequently pull in the studio (a very interesting time from what I hear).
From a subjective stance, I am studying this subculture to see what it is my roommate is doing with her time. She is a first year architecture major and spends many hours studying, drawing, working in studio, and doing other architecture related things. I often visit her in the studio, and now I will have a purpose for being there.

I think that studying architecture would be so much fun! If i were good at math i would definitely go into it. I am an art major and i know how stressful it is to get the projects done but i heard that the architecture mojor is pretty intense. It is an awesome idea because you already have a somewhat idea of what it is like because of your roommate. I think it will be an awesome topic for a project.
